Loctite 243 Medium Strength Blue Threadlocker
Loctite® 243 Primerless Threadlocker is an oil-tolerant, removable, medium-strength, blue threadlocker designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners between 1/4" and 3/4" (6 to 20 mm). The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, preventing loosening and stopping leakage from shock and vibration. It provides robust curing performance on a variety of metals.
Prevents loosening on vibrating assemblies (e.g., pumps, gear boxes or presses).
Works on all metals, including passive substrates (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces).
Proven to tolerate minor contamination by industrial oils (cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion).
Improved temperature resistance (180°C).
Permits disassembly with standard hand tools for servicing.
